Holi 2026

The Uttarakhand Devbhoomi Heritage Society Ottawa (UDHSO) successfully hosted the vibrant Holi Festival on March 07, 2026, bringing together nearly 165 adults and 50 children (under the age of 10) for a joyous celebration. The event was graced by Mayor Mike Tranowski of Russell Township, Mayor Francis Briere of the Nation Municipality, and Mr. Arun Bahunguna, an Indian diplomat from the High Commission of India, whose presence added to the festivities. Attendees enjoyed lively music, dance, delicious food, and the spirit of Holi. Thank you to all community groups for their support in making this event a grand success!

Women of Wonders (WOW) Talk 

UDHSO congratulates Shefali's Bollywood Dance Pro Ottawa for the successful 𝐖𝐎𝐖-𝐖𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 event to celebrate International Women's Day ON 07 March 2025. UDHSO is happy to be one of the sponsors of this event.

Holi Milan 2025

The Uttarakhand Devbhoomi Heritage Society Ottawa (UDHSO) successfully hosted the vibrant Holi Milan event on March 15, 2025, bringing together nearly 190 adults and 50 children under the age of 10 for a joyous celebration. The event was graced by the Acting High Commissioner of India, H.E. Shri Chinmoy Naik Ji, Mrs. Richa Naik Ji, and H.E. Shri Chandra Arya Ji, MP, whose presence added to the festivities. Attendees enjoyed lively music, dance, delicious food, and the spirit of Holi. Thank you to all community groups for their unwavering support in making this event a grand success!

Pahadi Musical Night

A memorable evening at the Pahadi Musical Night, the inaugural event hosted by UDHSO in Ottawa on January 5, 2025. We were thrilled to welcome folk singers and artists Saurav Maithani, Sangeeta Dhoundhiyal, Mahesh Chander, and Subhash Pandey, all the way from Uttarakhand, India. The event brought together nearly 150 attendees and their families, celebrating our vibrant Pahadi culture through music, dance, and delicious food. Thank you for being a part of this wonderful community gathering!
